God Poem 63--"Bereave Me of This Life"

God Poem 63

If you want to take me Lord,
I am all yours,
If you want to take me Lord,
consider my will yours,
If you want to make me Lord,
The object of your wrath,
I'll be waiting here,
For you to come and bereave me,
Of this life, truth or lie, Oh Lord.

I know I've sinned,
And I've come to an end,
Where I've realized you win,
Lord, though I have repented,
If you deem it far too late,
I am right here for you,
Though if there is still time,
I'd like to bow my head and pray,
For sixty more years added to my life.

If you want to take me Lord,
I am all yours
If you want to take me Lord,
consider my will yours,
If you want to make me Lord,
The object of your wrath,
I'll be waiting here,
For you to come and bereave me,
Of this life, truth or lie, Oh Lord.
