Poem for God 149-- Christ Died Part One

Dear Lord,
I am so guilty of this sin,
Which I continually hope
To get rid of,
But cannot win victory over.

Dear God,
I come to you in the name of your son,
Trembling with fear and trepidation,
For I don't deserve your love,
Your devotion to my sorry situation.

I never prayed the sinner's prayer,
Because that prayer,
As much as any sin,
Sends more people to Hell
Than it ever saves.

While so much of our world,
Revolves around fashion,
Food, clothing or even the superbowl,
All of this will go in a whirl,
And leave us naked before God,
Some in love,
Vast numbers in judgment and condemnation.

Oh Dear God,
I hope that these words
Will find their way to people,
Change their minds, O Lord.

Dear Lord,
May our sins of fornication,
Adultery, lust, and many others,
Be forgiven and we be washed,
By the Glory of God in His son Jesus Christ.

Dear Lord,
All have sinned and fall short
Of the glory of Jesus Christ,
God, show us pure water
Of a Godly life in heaven.

God, I come to you
In the name of your son,
To call on your name,
To plead with you
To tell me to preach the word
And serve your gain.

Lord, oh Lord,
Please lead me in thy righteousness
Because of mine enemies,
Make thy way straight before my face.

Make a name for yourself,
By either prospering me to declare your word,
Or by me being ground to powder,
Oh my God,
Let it be your word who sings,
None of this world matters,
None of those things!

Oh Dear God,
You govern all,
Heaven and earth and Hell.
All the bad and the well.

O God,
You gave your only begotten son,
O God I repent,
For all the sins I've done,
Your son, Christ died,
O My God he died!!
He died!
His precious blood,
You sought as the sacrifice
For the sins of wicked men!

Dear God,
Take a way all my sins,
Make me love and continue to weep,
For your dear son, for I am broken.

God, may the Glory be to you
And to Christ, Lord of all,
I hope to see you some day soon.

In Jesus name!
Amen.
